The Alum Creek Powerboat Club is looking
forward to another great boating season. Each month the club hosts a
"Theme Event." The date for each of these "Theme Events" is posted
below. We are looking for anyone interested in ideas and
coordinating a "Theme Event." Examples of previous themes have been
"Western"...60's and Hawaiian.
2008 EVENTS
BEGINNING IN MAY THROUGH SEPTEMBER ALL OF OUR EVENTS WILL
BE HELD THE SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN
HOSTING AN EVENT, PLEASE EMAIL

Members who volunteer to host a 2008 event will receive $25.00 off their 2009 membership renewal.
JUNE
JUNE 14TH, 2008 - NASCAR EVENT HOSTED BY LARRY
AND MARY ROWE
We would like to thank Mary and
Larry Rowe for again hosting our June Event. Everyone had a great
time with the NASCAR theme and the racing events.
Special acknowledgement to the
rule breakers -- Larry Rod and Mark Crawford!!!! Congrats to Mark and
Rudy Crawford for winning the three legged race, Mark Crawford winner
of the sack rack (cheater do win!!) and finally Larry and Mary Jane
taking first place in the over 50 crowd!!
Between the three legged race, the
sack rack and the water race, a great time was had by those
participating and those rallying the teams.
